How can i copy my ubuntu OS

I want to format my laptop and i dont have ubuntu iso file, so can I copy my current ubuntu files to usb and reinstall the os please help with this

You will probably need this...tutorials.ubuntu.com/tutorial/…. Don't forget to copy your important files to a cloud drive.

Is your Ubuntu system working now? If not, you need some other system (in the same or another computer), where you can run a system to either (1) get an Ubuntu iso file and create an Ubuntu live drive or (2) clone your Ubuntu system so that it can be restored (after formatting).

I think the link in the first comment shows how to do it and where to get the iso file. Otherwise, you find standard Ubuntu and the Ubuntu community flavours at releases.ubuntu.com . In Ubuntu you can use the Startup Disk Creator, Disks (aliasgnome-disks
) or mkusb to create a USB boot drive from the Ubuntu iso file. I would recommend the version 18.04.1 LTS (unless the computer is very old or very new).

You will probably need this...tutorials.ubuntu.com/tutorial/…. Don't forget to copy your important files to a cloud drive.
