My screen goes blank for a few seconds, irregularly. Sometimes it does this often, and sometimes, for a while, it doesn't. When blank it is black.

I have three screens. The one attached to HDMI port (nVidia hard wired) will blank every few days for a couple of seconds. What kind of computer and monitor do you have including interface card? I'm on Ubuntu 16.04 with Unity Desktop. What kind of Ubuntu are you using? What kind of desktop are you using?
