Show ip connections in console

So currently I'm setting up an FTP server, and I want to log every connection, but I wanted to have every successful connection show in my console when I'm working in the terminal. like if I run watch -d -n1 lsof -i I can see every connection into my server, but I would like it to be running in the background.

Is there any way to do this?
