Trying to install Lubuntu 18.10 - Boots into live mode after I install every time? [closed]

I downloaded Lubuntu 18.10 and it ran fine and booted into the live mode just like it should have. I went to install the actual system and every single time I install it, it'll ask me to remove my USB because it is about to restart. So I do, and it just boots to BIOS screen where it asks where I want to boot from. And any of those I choose it just kicks me right back. I'm not sure where to even begin?

Have you removed USB from system or tried to change boot order in BIOS settings?

  • So when I install Lubuntu , it runs through it great. It finishes and I wait for it to tell me to remove USB. I then remove it , with USB still set as first boot option . And then it tells me to press enter when I remove it. Which I do , that's when it reboots and it keeps going back to bios. Never loading the Lubuntu I just installed. I insert the USB again and it'll go right back to live mode. Maybe I have the wrong version? I'm at a loss here
