I have to solve the following trigonometric equation, in order to compute a explicit form for the computation of eigenvalues of a tri-diagonal matrix, that have the first diagonal element different from the others.
$$sin((n+1)theta) + 2sin(ntheta) = 0,;;theta neq mpi,;minmathbb{Z}$$
Any ideas or reference?
