I have an Asus N552VW laptop with Ubuntu 18.04 installed on it.
There is a weird problem...when powering off everything is OK and system shuts down normally.
But when rebooting it...hardware is restarting but screen goes dark and hangs and asus logo not appearing.
How can I fix it?
18.04 asus reboot

It sounds like a bios problem, if so you could try and update the bios asus.com/Laptops/VivoBook-Pro-N552VW/HelpDesk_BIOS
