switch video cards on Asus
my question is simple. Till 16.04 I was able to switch between nvidia to intel and viceversa with proprietary drivers (through prime-select or bumblebee) without any problem. Now, after updating to 18.04, it is not possible anymore.. there are a lot of discussions about it (using vgaswitcheroo, fastswitch, etc..)..but all these are terrible farraginous. I can't spend a lot of time to search a solution..! I use Ubuntu from version 8.04 and finally 16.04 was perfect. I hate the day I have updated the system to 18.04.
Excuse me for my outburst... But I would like to have an easy and fully functional mode to select the video card also with propretary driver..
Is it possibile ? Are you working on it ?
Can I wait or it is preferable to return to 16.04 ?
thanks for your patience
