Problems with steam linux

Well I basically have a problem with steam in Ubuntu. I'm running Ubuntu 18.04.
The problem is that the steam games does not detect the graphic card, I have an AMD A9 stoney r5 (9420), and tecnically the system does not detect either the graphic card.
Any suggestions of what can i do ?
Also I'm dual booting my system with Windows 10. (I don't know if that makes my system not recognize my graphic card).
Please if anyone has a solution let me know.

please clarify if you have installed the graphic card drivers i.e amdgpu-pro as decribed on amd.com
