Xubuntu 18.10 - Taskbar does not fit screen and “system detected a problem” window on startup

0

Taskbar.(image does not contain the prompt)

I have installed xubuntu 18.10 today and setup all of my stuff as i did with xubuntu 18.04 . I don't even know what thing that i did caused this issue. All I did since i installed 18.10 was stuff I was doing on a daily basis in 18.04

The "system detected a problem" window is very vague and it only says: "Do you want to report the issue now?"(alongside 2 buttons: "cancel", "report problem")

  • I have only now realised it's also the desktop background too, luckily the windows are fine
