I am installing Ubuntu server 11.04 to run an older LAMP application on my Windows 10 laptop, with VirtualBox.

I installed Ubuntu Server, but it won't connect to the internet, matter what Network i attach it to (NAT, Bridged Adapter, etc.)

ubuntu server has no network manager so you need to configure your network manually if you change any network thing. Maybe that's the problem.

  • Can you post the output of ifconfig -a from the VM?

  • FYI, 11.04 is not supported here since it went End of LIfe an eon ago. (You can re-ask on Unix and Linux if you want, but keep in mind that given the age of the OS you're attempting to use, you might not be able to get useful support, since that OS is well over 7 years old at this point).
