I'm asking about installing packages using AppImage, is it safe ? what about our classic method ppa was it safe and what are the differences between them mainly in the security side ?

PPA is a method of getting traditional apps from alternative locatios. Appimage in a sandboxed format so it might be compared with Snap or Flatpak, not PPA. PPA is safe as long as the person you trusted to add his PPA on your system puts safe things there.

PPA is a method of getting traditional apps from alternative locatios. Appimage in a sandboxed format so it might be compared with Snap or Flatpak, not PPA. PPA is safe as long as the person you trusted to add his PPA on your system puts safe things there.
