Ubuntu 18.04 newly installed (Dual boot) freezes

Help, I have been battling with resolving the issue with my Ubuntu 18.04, I discovered that after installation on my partitioned hard disk (windows 10 exists on the other partition), each time I boot into the freshly installed Ubuntu, I don't seem to have any problem, but after a while after launching some of my applications like Visual Studio Code editor and my chrome browser it just freezes.

Please how do I fix this irregularity?
