How to make a system ISO for Ubuntu 18.04.1

All the advice I found online relates to using https://launchpad.net/systemback.... which is no longer supported or functional... Is there a good 'plan B'??

  • would something like dd if=/dev/sda of=system.iso work???

  • It didn't seem to accomplish what I was looking for... it made a literal copy of sda, not an iso... but close!! Thanks
