Can't install hearthstone on ubuntu 18.04

I have tried installing Hearthstone in several ways and I can't get it to work.
I have tried using PlayOnLinux, i press configure, create a new virtual drive with the newest wine-stable-version (which is 3.0.3 right now). I then ran the .exe file through the drive, the installation begins but then I get the error message in the end:
A required DLL could not be found. Please download and reinstall Battle.Net.
If I remove the virtual drive, add a new similiar and opens the wine configuration, add the library dbghelp and libchef, the problem persists.
I have also tried installing wine (wine-3.6 according to wine--version
). First I got the same error as above, but then adding the to DLL libraries helped. Then, when I got to Battle.net login I got some pretty bad error messages.
What does this have to do with? Bad configuration? GPU problems? And how do I fix this.
Thanks for any help!

Maybe start here: reddit.com/r/hearthstone/comments/1niluj/heartstone_on_linux I suspect this is one of those things that is pretty brittle and has to maintained over time.

@jdv Thanks, but the post is a few years old, so I'm not sure the configuration, that worked there, is up to date.

This is sort of why it's unlikely to end up as useful Q&A here. It's a moving target.

Yeah I know. But I'm desperate and therefore willing to try ;)

Well, if the community thinks this question is on-topic, then you could research it and figure it out and post your own answer. For example: maketecheasier.com/play-hearthstone-on-ubuntu-linux
