Question about Bidirectional Associative Memory(BAM) testing.

I have designed a BAM for the recognition of the 4x5 binary images. (total of three images)

I was testing it, first i gave it inputs ( Xi, where i=1,2,3 etc.) and it gave correct results (meaning it gave me correct output associated with the given input)

However, during reverse associative testing, when i gave it outputs( Yi,where i=1,2,3 etc), it is not giving correct inputs. The result it is giving are completely wrong.

My questions is,

(1) Is there any explanation for this. Or is it something i have done wrong?

(2) Is this something to do with the size of binary images. Because i have designed a BAM for 4*4 and it worked perfectly.

Background-
I am doing all this on pen and paper. i am not using any programming software for this. ( its a requirement that i do this without the use of any software).

I have already checked my each and every step and everything is correct.

sorry for my english grammar, i am still working on it.
Thank You
